BEHIND THE SCENES OF FAIRVIEW FALLS

Check out the Journal for more details about the making of each scene.

July 10, 2004:

Matthew (Joe Policastro) and Alec (Joe Lauria) get into a pivotal confrontation.  Alec storms past Ariel (Morgan LaRocca) who has come looking for her boyfriend, Chopper (Gene Mazza).  Jude, Diana and Joe pose for pictures.

Brian Spears applies bruise makeup to Brittney Evans (Alicia).  Glen goes through the motions with the actors and begins to shoot the scene where Ariel makes a startling discovery.

Brittney and Gene pose for a picture before they do "battle."  Gene takes a kick to the kidneys and the crotch for real.  Alicia, overwhelmed with what she has sone to Arile and Chopper, begins to experience an emotional breakdown.

Tina (Kerri Taylor) tells Detective Max Gunnar (Walter Eikner) that she has always respected a man with a authority.  Max warns her and the other kids to stay out of the woods.

Congratulations to the Fairview Falls High School Class of 2005!  Gene, Lisa and Melinda Hogg smile and sigh in relief that the controversy over a scene depicting a poetic and powerful statement about wasted education in the youth of America is finally over.

July 11, 2004:

Shots from one of the movie's final bar scenes.  Kerri does a pickup shot from the previous bar scene.

Glen sets up his shot.  Sal shows his appreciation for being cast in the movie.  Ed Shelinsky shows up for a costume fitting.

Bar and Diner cast and crew join in for the fun.

Sal shows off his movie "battle wound."  Erick Yonick (Les) approves.

"Sal, don't you be trying to steal my woman!"

The Canopus Country Club was used as two different locations.  This is the daytime Diner exterior.

This scene is the turning point in the movie.  The characters have a lot on their plates and it's not food.  Although Woody (Rick Malvey) might be the exception to the rule.

Brian and Glen discuss what Casey DeLoe's (homeless man) makeup will look like now that he has replaced Chris Alo's Simon the Pimp character.  And here's what we came up with.
