Brian Spears and Pete Gerner joined forces in 2001 to form Gerner & Spears Effects (G&S FX) after meeting on the LIONSGATE vampire film MIDNIGHT MASS.

Now, seven years later, the duo anxiously awaits Glenn McQuaid’s epic I SELL THE DEAD, featuring G&S blood, vampires – and some very entertaining zombies.

G&S Effects is living the dream, working on bigger and better projects. They have continued to supply gags, gore and prosthetics to various music videos, award winning shorts, TV and feature films.

Some of the movies G&S FX worked on include: T&A romp FLESH FOR THE BEAST, DIY horror anthology THE TENEMENT, women in prison zombie flick SHADOW: DEAD RIOT, Jerky Boys Kamal Ahmed’s RAPTURIOUS, RETURN TO SLEEPAWAY CAMP and Dark Sky’s PLAGUE TOWN.

Their mission was -- and still is -- to provide quality make-up and effects for projects no matter what the budget.
